Company Profile

We are a team of engineers, scientists and software professionals. We develop CFD technology based on lattice Boltzmann methods, and are also actively involved in software development for healthcare and energy applications. Markets served include aerospace, chemical, energy and medical industries.

The product development is supported through funding from both federal (DOE, NASA, NSF, NRC) and private sources.

We have, in the past, worked on text and image recognition, datamining and optimization. Some of our earlier efforts have resulted in the spin-off of a successful e-learning company Mindflash Technologies Inc.

MetaHeuristics is also an Associate Member of the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN) involved in the testing and management of the CAPE-OPEN standard to allow CAPE (Computer-Aided Process Engineering) applications or components to interoperate.
